The choice of the Mediastream platform was based on its outstanding ability to manage online classes and offer the desired quality in both the transmission and management of educational content.
Curso Positivo, one of the main educational systems in Brazil with more than 40 years of experience, already provided online resources as support before the start of the 2020 pandemic. However, due to the suspension of face-to-face classes, they were implemented 100% online classes to meet the needs of future university students.
A basic streaming solution was implemented, but the resources offered proved insufficient to address the challenges that arose in the first months with the new online proposition. This led the educational institution to consider an alternative. With the integration of the Mediastream platform, Posiplay increased its ability to improve the management of classes and materials delivered to more than 5,000 students in several cities in Brazil. Teachers participate in the preparation of classes and content, resulting in more than 30,000 additional materials to consult on all subjects and approximately 3,000 classes for preparation for the university entrance exam, in addition to 35,000 exercises and reviews .
"If the pandemic prompted the holding of online classes out of necessity, the students of the Positive Course benefited from a new option to access classes. We have managed to combine the traditional way of teaching with the needs of the students, who today are more digital," adds Alceu.
Posiplay also offers the ability for students to chat live with teachers via chat, and third-year high school students of the Positivo Course can also access the platform to prepare for university admission exams. A survey among students revealed that the level of satisfaction went from 60% to 84.3%, with an increase of 40% compared to the platform used.
